We are a research lab in the University of Colorado Division of Rheumatology dedicated to understanding what causes rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and autoimmune interstitial lung disease (ILD). 

  • July 2023 – Dr. Daniele Marcy and Dr. Roshale Fernando join the team as post-doctoral trainees. Welcome!

  • April 2023 – Dr. Demoruelle was invited to give a talk on “Scleroderma-associated ILD and Pulmonary Rehab” at the Denver Scleroderma Education Day @ UC Health.

  • March 2023 – Our work finding anti-PAD4 antibodies are associated with less severe disease in patients with RA-ILD was published in the American Journal of Medical Sciences.

  • February 2023 – Dr. Demoruelle presented her work on “The Lung and NETosis in the Development of RA” at the University of Michigan Rheumatology Grand Rounds.

  • November 2022 – Dr. Daniele Marcy presented her work on RA-associated autoantibodies in the female genital tract in women with and without RA at the 2022 American College of Rheumatology Convergence Meeting.
