June 2025 – Dr. Kristen Demoruelle presented her work that revealed sputum calprotectin levels are decreased in the year prior to the onset of RA in a poster presentation at the 2025 European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology Annual Meeting.

November 2024 – Dr. Hideto Takada presented his work that identified an expansion of small macrophages by flow cytometry in the sputum of individuals at risk for RA in a poster presentation at the 2024 American College of Rheumatology Convergence Meeting.

September 2023 – Our work showing that ginger supplements suppress NETosis in people was published in JCI Insight. This exciting work was featured by multiple news outlets and suggests promising avenues for modulating NETosis in the treatment of autoimmune disease.
